CNG has a time sensitive opportunity in the US ( Atlanta, California, Columbus, Dayton, Cleveland ) for several people with prior skills and experience with Nortel’s CDMA NBSS technology. To apply for these contract positions you must meet the following qualifications:

Qualifications

  • Applicants must be available to work in any location above and must be willing/able to travel frequently.
  • Applicants must have previous and preferably current NBSS SW load experience.
  • Applicants must meet the job skill description below.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2 years experience with Nortel CDMA NBSS switching system.
  • CDMA NBSS product knowledge with experience in routine maintenance and troubleshooting in the several of the following areas: Legacy BSC, CBRS, BTS Metrocell, FRM/MFRM/MFRM2, SBS ESEL troubleshooting, 1XRTT and EVDO.
  • Well versed in the software loading for all sub-systems for upgrade and patching processes.
  • Strong skills in management of the BSSM including lip file registration, routine BSSM maintenance, Unix system administration, CFDS administration including site file generation and datafill.
  • Knowledge in passport based product area plus. The successful candidate could be asked to assist in customer on-the-job training, and feel comfortable in that environment.
  • Able to differentiate between the scope of work and optional opportunities that can be fed back to Nortel management for future work.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Self starting individual with the initiative that can identify target areas with problem solving skills that enable you to drive programs to resolve.
  • Strong work ethic and engagement practices.
  • Proven problem solving skills directed at both product technical and customer discretionary problems.
