We are currently recruiting for multiple Cisco IP Telephony contract opportunities at our Fortune 100 client located in the US Midwest. The technology is based on Cisco. We are recruiting for multiple positions and levels of expertise.

To qualify you will need at a minimum:

• Prior PSTN experience including a good understanding of:
  • Q.931 (ISDN)
  • T1 associated signaling (T1-CAS)
  • Foreign Exchange Office (FXO)
  • Foreign Exchange Station (FXS)
  • MGCP
• Thorough understanding of IP, TCP, UDP, RTP (Real Time Protocol)
• Hands on Cisco IOS experience
• Thorough understanding of Cisco SCCP (Skinny) protocol, SIP protocol and UNISTIM
• Good understanding of Cisco Hardware including:
  • Cisco Call Manager
  • Cisco IP phones (7910, 7940, 7960, 7935)
  • Catalyst 4000/6000
  • Cisco Voice Gateways including:
    • VG200
    • 3700, 3600, 2600
    • Catalyst 6000 T1 Voice and Service Modules
    • Catalyst 4000 Access Gateway Module
    • Cisco DE-30+
    • Cisco DE-24+

Desired skillsets would be:

• Expertise related to IP Telephony requirements definition, options assessment, design, configuration, installation and testing
• Excellent verbal and writing skills
• Preferred background would be 5+ years in traditional voice with most recent experience in data and IP Telephony
