On behalf of our client, we are recruiting for a Senior Telecommunications Engineer with expertise in SCADA and good familiarity with Nortel Passport technology for a contract in New York City. Our client is one of the larger power generation utilities in the area and is seeking expertise in the area of integration.

This is a contract position.

To qualify you will need at a minimum:

• Demonstrated past involvement in large electrical generation control networks.
• Demonstrated involvement and knowledge of SCADA systems.
• Superb communications skills, both written and verbal in English are mandatory.
• Ability to present to senior management.
• Good knowledge of work plans, project management, gap analysis and MS Office tools.
