CNG Global Services Inc. has a number of
contract opportunities in Ottawa
Canada and throughout the USA for Network Engineers with experience
in
Nortel Passport networks.
Due to the varied nature of our opportunities
a
combination of the following skills would be ideal:
- 5 or more years of experience in the design, implementation
and or support
of large carrier networks
- 2 or more years experience with the Nortel Passport
product line including
Passport 4400, 6400, 7400, 8600, 15000, Shasta and Contivity
- Experience
in provisioning Nortel Passport using OMS/Openview or
OMS/Netview
- Experience in provisioning ATM and voice in a Passport
environment
- Strong understanding of communication
protocols including
ATM, Frame
Relay, X.25, TCP/IP
- Experience with Unix, Scripting, and test gear
is required for test and
verification positions
- Ability to develop, execute and document project
plans and test plans
- Demonstrated Customer Support experience
is mandatory
