We are currently recruiting for an Information Security Analyst contract position in California.

To qualify you will need at a minimum:

Requirement: Enterprise Security requires a full-time resource to develop a plan to integrate a single sign on solution in our environment. This person will also, review and modify current policies, and publish emerging Information Security Policies, Standards, and Guidelines.

General Description of Duties: This individual will have the necessary project technical lead responsibilities to address our Single Sign on and our encryption of proprietary data initiatives. In doing so, this person will also help develop new and modify existing Information Security Policies, Standards, and Guidelines (PS&G). Additionally, they will be responsible for developing training material in accordance with the PS&Gs.

Required Skills and Experience: Project management of single sign on solutions in a large company environment. Project management of an encryption installation in a large and diverse database environment. Recent and broad knowledge of information security and understands how it specifically affects the workers compensation insurance industry. Should be aware of current state and federal laws that affect the information security organizational function. Should understand the following technologies and processes: firewalls, intrusion detection, remote access, incident handling, UNIX and Windows 2000 operating system configurations, risk assessments, password and logical access controls, biometrics, wireless security, token-based authentication mechanisms, Public Key Infrastructure, disaster recovery and business continuity planning, system security audits, mainframe security, viruses and malicious code, and physical access controls. Oral and written skills should be exceptional. Must communicate with confidence in front of groups of people.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • 3-5 years minimum experience in Information Security Project management. Installation of Single Sign on and encryption software in a large company environment.
  • Individual should have a four-year technical degree with some advanced education.
  • Certified in one or more of the following: CISSP, CISA, CISM, SANS GIAC (GSEC, GSLC, GISO, or GSNA desired), MSCE, or CISCO CCIE.
